Why I Built BakeryGo
I didn’t set out to build an app. I just wanted to make beautiful cakes and earn from something I love.
But the part no one talks about is the constant messaging. The “how many servings?”… “what date?”… “what flavour?”… “can you deliver?”… and then another message, and another. I’d be out for a meal or with family, phone in my hand under the table, because I didn’t want to lose the order. If I didn’t reply fast, someone else would.
And even after all that back and forth, I’d still miss a detail. Or I’d end up guessing the price because I didn’t have a proper way to price my time and ingredients. I’d say yes, then later realise I’d undercharged and basically paid myself nothing.

How does the 14-day refund policy work?

What if I cancel after the 14-day window?
You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period and won’t be charged again. We don’t pro-rate refunds after the 14-day window.
How do I cancel my subscription?

How does the pricing calculator work?
BakeryGo uses current UK pricing data to provide average ingredient costs as a starting point. You add your recipe details (ingredients, quantities, time, delivery and extras), and the calculator produces a suggested price based on a consistent method. We refresh the underlying cost data monthly to reflect typical market changes.
Is the calculator price “exact”?
No. The calculator gives you a guided minimum price to help prevent missed costs and undercharging. Your final price is always your choice, and you can adjust your quote based on your skill level, design complexity, demand, and local market.
How does the enquiry form link work?
Once you set up your account, you’ll get a unique enquiry link (with your branding, like your logo). You can share this link with customers so they can submit all the details you need in one go, instead of back-and-forth messaging.
When a customer submits an enquiry, you’ll receive an email notification, so you don’t need to log in daily. You can then log in, review the full details, and respond to the customer directly.

Do I message customers inside BakeryGo?
No. BakeryGo doesn’t replace your customer conversations. It’s designed to collect the details first time so you can quote faster and more confidently. You’ll respond to customers outside the platform (Instagram DMs, WhatsApp, email, etc.).
Can I use BakeryGo if I’m not in the UK?
Yes. You can still use BakeryGo’s enquiry form exactly the same, and you can use the international version of the pricing calculator. Outside the UK, you’ll simply enter your own ingredient costs, because we currently only provide automated UK average cost data. It’s still much faster than spreadsheets or guessing, and it helps you price consistently.
